Applause Submissions Wanted

Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your creativity? UAFS’s creative arts club, Applause, is currently accepting anonymous submissions for poems, short stories, creative nonfiction, and formal essays. All submissions must be original and previously unpublished and all writers must be enrolled UAFS students for the 2014-15 academic year. Each participant is limited to one submission per category. One poetry submission includes up to 5 poems. Fiction and creative nonfiction essays have a 3,000 word limit and should follow proper citation format.

Submissions can be emailed to applause@uafs.edu and should be sent as an attachment in .doc or .rt formats only. The body of the email should include the submission title and category as well as the participant’s hometown and phone number or email address. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines will not be reviewed. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 13, 2015.
